What does this certification mean?
This means Dot Dot bubble tea products have undergone The Vegetarian Society’s independent checks, met their strict criteria, with each product independently certified by The Vegetarian Society.
Displaying the Vegetarian Society's Approved vegetarian and vegan trademarks means Dot Dot products are free of ingredients derived from slaughter. It also reflects our commitment to transparency, quality and creating better-for-you drinks that everyone can enjoy with confidence.
How do we meet the Vegan Trademark criteria?
The Vegan trademark criteria specifically requires that all ingredients used to make the products are free of animal-derived ingredients or substances of animal origin.The quality standards and criteria require that our products be GMO-free and free of cross-contamination during production. If the same production line is used for non-vegetarian products or ingredients, thorough cleaning must be carried out before vegetarian production begins. This applies to all associated machinery, equipment, utensils, surfaces, and clothing, which must remain free from non-vegetarian products or ingredients before vegetarian products are touched, prepared, produced, or packaged. Clear procedures must be in place to ensure that correct packaging is used and errors do not occur during production and operations.
The Criteria:
To summarise, the following criteria must be strictly met and approved to qualify for the vegan, vegetarian and plant-based trademarks by the Vegetarian Society:
• Free from any ingredient resulting from slaughter or any part or substance from an animal
• No cross-contamination during production between non-vegetarian products and or ingredients
• GMO-free
• No animal testing carried out or commissioned

What’s in Dot Dot Bubble Teas?
Dot Dot Bubble Teas are made with botanical ingredients, natural fruit purées and authentic infusions of brewed tea, such as dried rose buds, jasmine, and loose-leaf mint. For toppings, all of our products contain popping fruit juice bubbles, made from natural fruit purées of passionfruit, lychee, lime, lemon, and coffee flavours, which, when reacting with calcium lactate water, form round, popping balls (this process is called spherification). We’ve taken a category usually high in sugar and additives and reimagined it in a more thoughtful, better-for-you way, without compromising on taste or enjoyment!
