On Friday 14th August 2026, we hosted our first-ever Japanese Tea Scented Workshop at Planet Organic’s Broadway Market store using our organic teas from Planet’s FIRST Craft Bubble Tea range, which launched exclusively at Planet Organic this summer!
Using high-quality, organic teas of Hojicha, Genmaicha, and Jasmine, our community created their own tea-infused scented sachets using a variety of herbs and essential oils for different benefits and purposes. Hosted by our founder, Yandis Ying, and our craft tea master, Chelsea, we took our community on a journey, from learning more about our brand’s story to understanding the significance of each organic craft tea. It was the ultimate sensory Dottie experience as we joined the dots between creativity, craft, and community to celebrate one of our proudest milestones.
What Is The Tea-Infused Scented Workshop All About?
To celebrate our partnership with Planet Organic and the exclusivity of the first-ever craft bubble tea range, we wanted to host an exclusive, community campaign event! The craft tea range was our love letter to tea connoisseurs and tea enthusiasts everywhere - Love You To A T. Using our organic Japanese teas - Hojicha, Genmaicha and Jasmine, we combined the sensory worlds of aromatic craft and botanical tea blending. Our community created their own personalised tea-infused scented sachets to take home. From an energising blend with their choice of tea mixed with lemongrass, lemon, and mint, to a relaxing blend with a more floral tea mix - jasmine, lavender, chamomile, and cherry blossom.
This is an experiential event inspired by real, high-quality ingredients behind Dot Dot Bubble Tea. We’re always looking to work with our retail partners to create unique experiences that give people the reason to discover our brand, taste the products for themselves, and understand what makes Dot Dot different.
The Workshop Benefits
Not only do we get to meet and spend time with our community, but the tea-infused scented workshop also has many benefits, including mindfulness with sensory hands-on crafting. Our workshop was sensory-focused and allowed our community to explore aroma, texture, and meditative brewing practices, giving people the chance to embrace the present moment. The teas, herbs, and essential oils make up aromatheraphy - involving the therapeutic use of concentrated, fragrant natural plant extracts through the sense of smell to help relax the body and mind by reducing stress and improve general mood and well-being.
